The Quimper tradition of representing the Breton people in pottery began in 1860 after the arrival of the railroad, and thus tourism, to Quimper. Quimper pottery made Breton souvenirs par excellence. The Lynn Chase Designs are based on a variety of wildlife images as the artist sought to combine her two passions, the love of art and that of nature.
